ALLAH SUBHANAHU WATAALLA

ALLAH MENTIONED IN THE QURAN 2699

SURA HAJJI AYA 47

وَيَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَلَنْ يُّخْلِفَ اللّٰهُ وَعْدَهٗ ۗ وَاِنَّ يَوْمًا عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ كَاَ لْفِ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّوْنَ

And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allah will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.

SURA SAJDA AYA 5

يُدَبِّرُ الْاَمْرَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ اِلَى الْاَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ اِلَيْهِ فِىْ يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهٗۤ اَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّوْنَ

He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.

SURA MAARIJ AYA 4

تَعْرُجُ الْمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ وَ الرُّوْحُ اِلَيْهِ فِىْ يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهٗ خَمْسِيْنَ اَلْفَ سَنَةٍۚ

The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.

ABILITY TO DO ANYTHING

SURA BAQARAH AYA 106

مَا نَنْسَخْ مِنْ اٰيَةٍ اَوْ نُنْسِهَا نَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ مِّنْهَآ اَوْ مِثْلِهَا ۗ اَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?

SURA BAQARAH AYA 117

بَدِيْعُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَ اِذَا قَضٰٓى اَمْرًا فَاِنَّمَا يَقُوْلُ لَهٗ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ

Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is.

SURA AL IMRAAN AYA 165

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اَنْدَادًا يُّحِبُّوْنَهُمْ كَحُبِّ اللّٰهِۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلّٰهِ ۗ وَلَوْ يَرَى الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْٓا اِذْ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَۙ اَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ لِلّٰهِ جَمِيْعًا ۙ وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِيْدُ الْعَذَابِ

And [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah . But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah . And if only they who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they will be certain] that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment.

SURA IMRAAN AYA 189

وَلِلّٰهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over all things competent.

SURA AL IMRAAN 191

الَّذِيْنَ يَذْكُرُوْنَ اللّٰهَ قِيَامًا وَّقُعُوْدًا وَّعَلٰى جُنُوْبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُوْنَ فِىْ خَلْقِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۚ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هٰذَا بَاطِلًا ۚ سُبْحٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], “Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

SURA ANFAL 8.41

وَاعْلَمُوْۤا اَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُمْ مِّنْ شَىْءٍ فَاَنَّ لِلّٰهِ خُمُسَهٗ وَ لِلرَّسُوْلِ وَلِذِى الْقُرْبٰى وَالْيَتٰمٰى وَالْمَسٰكِيْنِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيْلِ ۙ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ اٰمَنْتُمْ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَاۤ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلٰى عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ الْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعٰنِ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

And know that anything you obtain of war booty – then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our Servant on the day of criterion – the day when the two armies met. And Allah, over all things, is competent.

SURA TOWBA AYA 116

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ يُحْىٖ وَيُمِيْتُۗ وَمَا لَـكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَّلِىٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيْرٍ

Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper.

SURA HUD AYA 4

اِلَى اللّٰهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْۚ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

To Allah is your return, and He is over all things competent.”

SURA NAHL AYA 40

اِنَّمَا قَوْلُـنَا لِشَىْءٍ اِذَاۤ اَرَدْنٰهُ اَنْ نَّقُوْلَ لَهٗ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ

Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is but that We say to it, “Be,” and it is.

16:41

SURA MUMIN AYA 68

هُوَ الَّذِىْ يُحْىٖ وَيُمِيْتُۗ فَاِذَا قَضٰٓى اَمْرًا فَاِنَّمَا يَقُوْلُ لَهٗ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ

He it is who gives life and causes death; and when He decrees a matter, He but says to it, “Be,” and it is.

SURA HAMEEM SAJDA AYA  39

وَمِنْ اٰيٰتِهٖۤ اَنَّكَ تَرَى الْاَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَاِذَاۤ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَآءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْۗ اِنَّ الَّذِىْۤ اَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْىِ الْمَوْتٰى ۗ اِنَّهٗ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

And of His signs is that you see the earth stilled, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given it life is the Giver of Life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent.

SURAH SHURA AYA 49

لِلّٰهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ ۗ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۗ يَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَّشَآءُ اِنَاثًا وَّيَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَّشَآءُ الذُّكُوْرَ ۙ

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what he wills. He gives to whom He wills female [children], and He gives to whom He wills males.

SURAH HADEED AYA 2

لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۚ يُحْىٖ وَيُمِيْتُۚ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent.

BEST OF ALL JUDGES

SURA TEEN AYA 8

اَلَيْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَحْكَمِ الْحٰكِمِيْنَ

Is not Allah the most just of judges?

BEYOND DEFINATION

SURAH ZUKHRUF AYA 82

سُبْحٰنَ رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوْنَ

Exalted is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.

SURA MULK AYA 12

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ لَهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَّاَجْرٌ كَبِيْرٌ

Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.

BRING SCHEMES OF KUFFAR TO NOUGHT

SURA ANFAAL AYA 30

وَاِذْ يَمْكُرُ بِكَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لِيُثْبِتُوْكَ اَوْ يَقْتُلُوْكَ اَوْ يُخْرِجُوْكَۗ وَيَمْكُرُوْنَ وَيَمْكُرُ اللّٰهُۗ وَاللّٰهُ خَيْرُ الْمٰكِرِيْنَ

And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you [from Makkah]. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.

SURA ANFAAL AYA36

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يُنْفِقُوْنَ اَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيَـصُدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗ فَسَيُنْفِقُوْنَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُوْنُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُوْنَ ۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا اِلٰى جَهَـنَّمَ يُحْشَرُوْنَۙ

Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of Allah . So they will spend it; then it will be for them a [source of] regret; then they will be overcome. And those who have disbelieved – unto Hell they will be gathered.

CAUSE PEOPLE TO DISSAPEAR AND BRING FORTH OTHER BEING

SURATUL NISA AYA 133

اِنْ يَّشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ اَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِاٰخَرِيْنَۗ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ قَدِيْرًا

If He wills, He can do away with you, O people, and bring others [in your place]. And ever is Allah competent to do that.

SURA IBRAHIM AYA 19

اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ بِالْحَـقِّۗ اِنْ يَّشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيْدٍۙ

Have you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? If He wills, He can do away with you and produce a new creation.

SURA FATIR AYA 15-17

35:15

يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اَنْتُمُ الْفُقَرَآءُ اِلَى اللّٰهِۚ وَاللّٰهُ هُوَ الْغَنِىُّ الْحَمِيْدُ

O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

35:16

اِنْ يَّشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيْدٍۚ

If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation.

35:17

وَمَا ذٰ لِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ بِعَزِيْزٍ

And that is for Allah not difficult.

CAUSE LAUGHTER AND CRYING

SURAH NAJM AYAH 43

وَاَنَّهٗ هُوَ اَضْحَكَ وَاَبْكٰىۙ

And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep

CAUSE AMAN TO SLEEP FOR A CENTURY

SURA BAQARAH AYA 259

اَوْ كَالَّذِىْ مَرَّ عَلٰى قَرْيَةٍ وَّ هِىَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلٰى عُرُوْشِهَا ۚ قَالَ اَنّٰى يُحْىٖ هٰذِهِ اللّٰهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ فَاَمَاتَهُ اللّٰهُ مِائَةَ عَامٍ ثُمَّ بَعَثَهٗ ۗ قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَۗ قَالَ لَبِثْتُ يَوْمًا اَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍۗ قَالَ بَلْ لَّبِثْتَ مِائَةَ عَامٍ فَانْظُرْ اِلٰى طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْۚ وَانْظُرْ اِلٰى حِمَارِكَۗ وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ اٰيَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَانْظُرْ اِلَى الْعِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُـنْشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوْهَا لَحْمًا ۗ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهٗ ۙ قَالَ اَعْلَمُ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

Or [consider such an example] as the one who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin. He said, “How will Allah bring this to life after its death?” So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then He revived him. He said, “How long have you remained?” The man said, “I have remained a day or part of a day.” He said, “Rather, you have remained one hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed with time. And look at your donkey; and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones [of this donkey] – how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh.” And when it became clear to him, he said, “I know that Allah is over all things competent.”

DECREES WHAT BEFALLS HUMANS

SURA TOWBA AYA 51

9:51

قُلْ لَّنْ يُّصِيْبَـنَاۤ اِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللّٰهُ لَـنَا ۚ هُوَ مَوْلٰٮنَا ۚ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ

Say, “Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector.” And upon Allah let the believers rely.

SURAH HADEED AYAH 22

مَاۤ اَصَابَ مِنْ مُّصِيْبَةٍ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلَا فِىْۤ اَنْفُسِكُمْ اِلَّا فِىْ كِتٰبٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ نَّبْـرَاَهَا ۗ اِنَّ ذٰ لِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ يَسِيْرٌۖ

No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being – indeed that, for Allah, is easy –

ENEMY FOR THOSE WHO DENY THE TRUTH

SURAH BAQARAH AYAH 98

مَنْ كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّلّٰهِ وَمَلٰٓٮِٕکَتِهٖ وَ رُسُلِهٖ وَجِبْرِيْلَ وَمِيْكٰٮلَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَدُوٌّ لِّلْكٰفِرِيْنَ

Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael – then indeed, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers.
