ANGEL JIBRIL(GABRIEL) A.S
SURA BAQARAH 2.97
قُلْ مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّۭا لِّجِبْرِيلَ فَإِنَّهُۥ
نَزَّلَهُۥ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ
وَهُدًۭى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٩٧
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺
“Whoever is an enemy of Gabriel should know that he revealed this ˹Quran˺ to
your heart by Allah’s Will, confirming what came before it—a guide and good
news for the believers.”
مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّۭا لِّلَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ
وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَجِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَىٰلَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَدُوٌّۭ لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
٩٨
Whoever is an enemy of
Allah, His angels, His messengers, Gabriel, and Michael, then ˹let them know
that˺ Allah is certainly the enemy of the disbelievers.
SURATUL NAJM
53.6-7
عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلْقُوَىٰ ٥
He has been taught by
one ˹angel˺ of mighty power1
ذُو مِرَّةٍۢ فَٱسْتَوَىٰ ٦
and great perfection,
who once rose to ˹his˺ true form1
وَهُوَ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ٧
while on the highest
point above the horizon,
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ ٨
then he approached
˹the Prophet˺, coming so close
فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَىٰ ٩
that he was only two
arms-lengths away or even less.1
فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦ مَآ أَوْحَىٰ ١٠
Then Allah revealed to
His servant what He revealed ˹through Gabriel˺.
مَا كَذَبَ ٱلْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ ١١
The ˹Prophet’s˺ heart
did not doubt what he saw.
أَفَتُمَـٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ ١٢
How can you ˹O pagans˺
then dispute with him regarding what he saw?
SURA NAJM
13.18
وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَىٰ ١٣
And he certainly saw that ˹angel
descend˺ a second time
عِندَ سِدْرَةِ ٱلْمُنتَهَىٰ ١٤
at the Lote Tree of
the most extreme limit ˹in the seventh heaven˺—
عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰٓ ١٥
near which is the
Garden of ˹Eternal˺ Residence—
إِذْ يَغْشَى ٱلسِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَىٰ ١٦
while the Lote Tree
was overwhelmed with ˹heavenly˺ splendours!
مَا زَاغَ ٱلْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ ١٧
The ˹Prophet’s˺ sight
never wandered, nor did it overreach.
لَقَدْ رَأَىٰ مِنْ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ ١٨
He certainly saw some
of his Lord’s greatest signs.1
SURATUL
TAHREEM 66.4
إِن تَتُوبَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ صَغَتْ قُلُوبُكُمَا ۖ وَإِن
تَظَـٰهَرَا عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ مَوْلَىٰهُ وَجِبْرِيلُ وَصَـٰلِحُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
ۖ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ ظَهِيرٌ ٤
It will be better˺ if
you ˹wives˺ both turn to Allah in repentance, for your hearts have certainly
faltered. But if you ˹continue to˺ collaborate against him, then ˹know that˺
Allah Himself is his Guardian. And Gabriel, the righteous believers, and the
angels are ˹all˺ his supporters as well.
TWICE SEEN IN
AVISION BY RASULULLAH(S.A.W)
SURATUL NAJM
53.6-7

SURATU TAKWEER
وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْمُبِينِ ٢٣
And he did see that
˹angel˺ on the clear horizon,1
